Introduction

The TottyRoots Family Records and document pages is a collection of our TOTTY Roots mailing list records and research by the TOTTY Roots Research Group. The County of Houston County was created & organized in 1837 from Nacogdoches County, by Republic of Texas and was named for Sam Houston. It is in the East region of Texas. The county seat is located in Crockett. Thus far we have only found the following records for the TOTTY families in this county. Davy Crockett National Forest & Tejas Mission State Parks are located in Houston County alongs with Houston County Lake. The water ways drain into the Neches & Trinity Rivers. Houston County is over half forested.

Notes: [BTM] Census records show Isabella's surname to be LINUS, and marriage record shows Wallace TOTTY m Belle LINE on 5-14-1888 in Houston Co. TX.   The first name of Belle's mother was not clear on the 1900 census record above. Does anybody know what her parents name was?   Wallace was the son of William T. and Mary (Thompson) TOTTY from Georgia. The parents of William T. TOTTY have had been identified yet.   ANY and all help appreciated on this family.
