The County of Wilson was created in 1799 from
Sumner County, Tennessee. Sumner County was created in 1786
from Davidson County, Davidson County from Washington County in 1783 which
covered the present State. The county seat is located in Lebanon,
TN. The State of Tennessee was created in 1796..

Notes: Cantsriel B. ROGERS was named in
the guaridanship and court records as son of Elisha ROGERS who died bef
Sept. 1816. He married 1st) Frances D. JOINER cira 1830 in Carroll
County, Tennessee. According to census records she was born
1813 in Tennessee.

One of the buyers were Abigail ROGERS,
Administrators: Jeremiah TUCKER and Abigail ROGERS.
Recorded January 20, 1816. Wilson Co., TN Will and Inventory Book 2, 1814-1819
pages 124=125.
1816 April 9th Marriage
of Addy ROGERS to Ransom KING in Wilson Co., Tennessee
Notes: Abigail "Addy" ROGERS was born 1812
in North Carolina. She married RANSOM KING who was born 1790 in North
Carolina. Their children were; Elizabeth 1833, Jane 1839, James 1839,
Joseph C. 1841, Nancy 1843, Candes W. KING 1848.
1816 September 16 Guardianship
Court Record [Wilson Co., TN County Court Minutes, No#29] Elisha
ROGERS
Elisah died before 16 September 1816, when the
administrator, Jeremiah Tucker, was ordered to make a report (Wil Tn, County
Court Minutes, No#/29) Ransom King, Esqr., was appointed guardian of the
5 minor heirs of Elisha Rogers Deceased to wit, Littleton, Clabourn, Cantsriel,
Emily and Jeremiah Rogers.
Notes: Hattie
Lee ROGERS TOTTY is a descendant from
Elisha ROGERS through his son Canstriel ROGERS. Elisha was
most likely buried somewhere in Wilson County, TN as this is where his
administrator made report on guardianship of minor children Littleton,
Clabourn, Cantsriel, Emily and Jeremiah Rogers. Children of
Elisha were; Littleton 1802, Clabourn 1807, Cantsriel
[Cantrell] B. b:1811 in Wilson Co., Jeremiah T. ROGERS
1814, of Carroll Co., TN. Ransom KING married
a widow of Elisha, one week earlier than this when he was appointed guardian
of the minor heirs of Elisha. Ransom KING is listed later in Carroll
Co., TN along with Cantrel and Clabour on census records.
C.B. ROGERS had a son Elisha Austin ROGERS father of Thomas Albert
ROGERS the father of Hattie Lee ROGERS who married Green
Whitfield TOTTY in Lawton,
Comanche County, OK. Bother Hattie and Green died in Napa,
CA.

of Narcissa A. ROGERS to John CARAWAY in Wilson Co., Tennessee
Notes: Narcissa A. ROGERS was the possible
daughter of Elisha ROGERS.
1828 October 16th Marriage
of Cloe Ferris LESTER and Abner JENNINGS
Notes: Cloe and Abner JENNINGS were the
parents of George W. JENNINGS who married Elizabeth Caroline STEPHENS,
George and Caroline were the parents of Georgia Anna JENNINGS who married
Thomas Albert RODGERS, son of Elisha Austin ROGERS and Nancy Ann Marshall
(both are buried in Wise
Co., TX.), and where Gerogia Anna and Thomas RODGERS were married.
Georgia Anna and Thomas had a daughter Hattie Lee RODGERS who met Green
Whitfield TOTTY in Montague
Co., TX.
