The County of Coffee was created in 1836 from Franklin. Warren and Bedford, Tennessee. The county seat is located in Manchester, TN. The State of Tennessee was created in 1796. Washington Co. TN was created in 1877 and covered the present State then split into many counties. One being Davidson Co. which split into Rutherford in 1803 & Sumner in 1786. Sumner Co. split into Smith Co. in 1799, Smith Co. into Jackson Co in 1801, Jackson Co. into Overton. White County was created from Jackson and Overton in 1806. Warren Co. created in 1807 from White. Franklin was created from Bedford and Warren Counties. Bedford was created from Rutherford Co., in 1807.

Lucinda Jane GRAHAM was married to James Calvin CROSSLIN in Manchester, Coffee County on September 28, 1870.   James and Lucinda Jane (Graham) CROSSLIN had a son James Chrles CROSSLIN who married Plora Mae DENNIS, their daughter Inez CROSSLIN married Spurgeon Thomas MCNUTT, they are my mother and father in-law. Birdie (Totty) McNutt.
