The County of Woods was created in 1893 from the Cherokee Outlet. The County Seat is located in Alva, Oklahoma where some of the TOTTY'S and their descendants lived.

Caperna is the sister of Mollie and are both daughters of James William and Nancy Jane (Holman) TOTTY of Warren County, Kentucky. James was the s/o John and Theresa (Russell) TOTTY, s/o William L. and Mary (Unk) TOTTY of Virginia and Warren Co. KY.
