Totty  Roots

The County of   Love was created in 1907 from the Chickasaw Lands.   The County Seat is located in Marietta, Oklahoma where some of the TOTTY'S and their descendants lived.

Note:  Green TOTTY was the son of John Whitfield TOTTY and Sarah Ellen (Yandell), son of Capt. F. M. TOTTY and Rhoda (Spradling).   Vernon Estell TOTTY was my father.   My Dad told me when he was 10 years old he helped his father in the wood cutting business and hauled wood in a wagon to customers to help bring in money to live on.  He also worked on the farm with his brother Elvin and his Dad.
